ULMA Conveyor Components is working intensively on the “Zero Waste” Project, which consists of applying principles that aim to reuse products so that they do not return to nature in the form of waste or garbage with the objective of improving the environment.
We have installed specialized spill control equipment and have implemented specific training for workers, as well as improved treatment to prevent pollutant emissions from ending up in the soil.
We manage waste efficiently, reducing by 90% the waste sent to landfill and we have improved our carbon footprint by 10% by optimising the number of transports for its removal. We seek to change our mentality by being more sustainable, change our habits by being more responsible and change our production model with much less waste.
